The S1 will handle more voltage and frequency, but watch thermal headroom. Start at 1.25V core and 575 MHz, monitor ASIC temp—if it stays under 62°C, push to 600 MHz and 1.28V for about 11.5–12 TH/s. Beyond that you'll hit the 70s and it throttles anyway. Use the web interface to adjust voltage and frequency one step at a time, let it settle 10 minutes between changes, and if you get ASIC errors or reboots, back off 25 MHz.
Some S1 owners run 590–600 MHz stable on stock cooling in rooms under 24°C; warmer or in closed racks need better airflow or bigger heatsinks.
Common mistake: cranking voltage and frequency together spikes current draw and trips the power fault before you know which caused it.
