My Nerdoctaxe exploded on me

There a VREG overload message on my nedoctaxe, what should I do?

Hey—first off, "Nerdoctaxe" isn't a thing we sell, so I'm guessing autocorrect got you. You probably mean either a **NerdMiner** (the little ESP32 lottery ticket) or a **Bitaxe** (Gamma, Supra, Ultra, etc.). The VREG overload message is a Bitaxe thing, so I'm assuming that's what you've got. That error means the voltage regulator is seeing too much current draw or the input voltage sagged hard under load. It's almost always the power brick. Unplug it for 30 seconds, then use a proper regulated 5V 5A USB-C supply plugged straight into the wall—no extension lead, no hub. A phone charger won't cut it. If it still throws the error with a good supply, cold boot again and drop the frequency to 485 MHz in the tuning page to ease the load. If that clears it, the brick was borderline. If it doesn't, reply back with the exact model (look at the silkscreen on the board) and we'll take another pass. Let us know how you go.
