Harlo OS on bitaxe 602

Has anyone tried installing Harlo OS on a bitaxe 602? I only see bitaxe 601 listed as supported.

The 602 isn't officially supported yet—Harlo OS lists the 601 but not the 602. A couple of people have flashed it anyway and reported it boots, but the chip init can be flaky and you lose the exact frequency curve the 602 needs. Stick with the stock Bitaxe firmware until Harlo releases a 602 build, or you'll spend more time troubleshooting than mining. If you really want the slot screen now, grab a Harlo miner—they ship with the OS and tuning already dialed in. Common mistake: flashing Harlo OS onto unsupported hardware and then wondering why the ASIC won't initialize or hashrate is lower than stock.

I have been using beta version **0.2.101** on my Bitaxe Gamma 602 since its release, which is now a little over one month. So far, I haven't encountered any significant bugs or issues. The only thing I've noticed is that the fan control responds rather slowly. However, this is a relatively minor issue. What I particularly like are the extensive safety settings. The safety thresholds can be configured very precisely. When critical temperatures are reached, the fans are first ramped up to 100%. If that isn't enough and the temperature continues to rise, the miner is throttled down and enters idle mode. This provides an additional layer of protection. Personally, I prefer this firmware over AxeOS because it offers significantly more configuration options and more comprehensive safety settings. My device runs continuously in overclocking mode at approximately **2 TH/s**, and so far it has been very stable.

I get an error when connecting. I’ll check again tomorrow, I have a (10) count of these to add.. Love the other miners supported.

Problems connecting the miner? I had the same issue once when using Firefox. Switching to Google Chrome solved it immediately. The initial setup can be a little tricky, but once everything is configured, it runs smoothly and reliably.
