THE FIX · CONFIRMED BY ASKERu/jon-heliumdeployHELIUM DEPLOY· answered 1h after the question

That's a solid setup—the dual Noctuas with a shroud will keep temps way down and let you push the chips harder without throttling. At 8.5 TH pulling 12 W/TH you're around 102 W total, which is efficient for a dual-chip board. Set a DHCP reservation so the miner doesn't lose its IP during router lease cycles, and compare the pool's 24-hour average instead of live numbers since small miners swing around. Screenshot your tuning settings before firmware updates so you don't have to find the sweet spot again. Common mistake: running aggressive frequency without watching VRM temp—Noctuas keep the ASIC cool, but voltage regulators still need airflow across the board.

The Naja Duo is more of a low speed miner because they don't run enough current regulators for two bm1373 at fast speed. Two power stack regulators are the maximum of 80 amps with a full compliment of capacitors that they even skimp out on that so you might get 60-70A at full TJunct of 85c.

In regards to the Naja duo miner, if the board was made like it was designed. they will not fill the vias so the board can breath and dissipate heat into the air

As far as heat I wouldn't worry very much unless its going over 85c But since they put them on the backside of the board under the ASIC heat sink you could add a 1mm processor shim under the ASIC heat sink or a 1 mm thermal pad where the backside of the VRs are at and cool the VRs with the ASIC heat sink.
