best BS-1 cooling tune

the best way to setup cooling for your BS1 running HarloLab OS is to set the both the rear and front to automatic and set rear target temp to 50c and front to 47c .. the rear is your Voltage Regulator and the front is your ASIC as long as you have not move the 4pin fan connectors from its stock location.

Your BS-1 doesn't run HarloLab OS—it runs Bitfortun's stock firmware, and the fan control works differently. On the BS-1 you get one fan header that auto-adjusts based on ASIC temp; there's no separate VRM zone control in the web interface. Set the fan to auto and let the board manage it. If the chip's running over 60°C at stock settings, add airflow around the case or dial back the frequency a notch. Common mistake: trying to apply Harlo tuning advice to a Bitfortun board—they're completely different firmware stacks with different thermal management.
